GOOD JOB SPARTANS !!! GREAT TEAM EFFORT !!!
Good Job Ville & LL! Monty was lucky to squeak by.
Phenominal job by Immaculata today. I was very impressed with the Spartans' ability to not only stay in the game, but win it, with Piazzolla struggling a bit with her control early in the game and with the Immaculata defense making three errors.
Kudos, though, to Watchung Hills pitcher Lydia deMartino. This might have been her most impressive performance to day, despite the loss.
The Warriors learned the hardway what happens when you leave 12 runners on base, including 10 in scoring position.
And hats off to Somerville. I knew this game would be close, but for the Pioneers to take Montgomery to extra innings, well, that's just flat out impressive.
What ? No words for Bound Brook. Bridgewater barely made it. Score doesn't reflect how close the game really was. So much for outclassed team.1st pitch of game whacked for a double.
Lady Crusaders played heck of a game! Who knows what would have happened if they didn't intentionally walk the best batter on the team.
Best Batter would have blasted a homer just like she did against Bernards.Thats why they walked her
derrrr
